More than 200 students in continuing education and mastering class were called to participate in an exhibition featuring one to two jewel representative of their knowledge and know-how,. Pieces were created between April 2017 and March 2018, during the lessons in basic jewelry techniques and workshops in specialized techniques.

If some prefer classical and noble materials such as gold, precious stones or pearls, others present more contemporary creations integrating mixed materials such as plexiglass, resin, concrete, or glass.



At the gala, on Friday, April 27, five awards were given :

– Beginner level : Dominika Durtan






– Intermediate level : Arlette Côté






– Advanced level : Tanya Perron






– Free Creation, for pieces being not part of the regular technical program in basic in jewellery : Danielle Van Patter






– Specialized techniques for pieces following specific learning as a result of their participation in a mastering class : Gayane Avetisyan






And the favorite of the audience award was given to Dominika Durtan.

This exhibition, which runs from April 19 to May 16, 2018 at the gallery of l’École de joaillerie de Montréal, is an annual event that highlights the creative richness of students of all ages and from everywhere since 1973.
