SOFA Chicago 2015

The biggest delegation ever of jewellers from Quebec will attend the next SOFA show in Chicago from November 5th to 8th.  

Working in the arts for over 25 years, Noel Guyomarc’h runs his eponymous gallery to disseminate and promote a little known discipline, contemporary jewellery. From the start, Noel has acted as a promoter, commissioner and educator, and is now recognized nationally and internationally as an expert in the field.

A unique gallery specializing in contemporary jewellery in Canada, it has represented more than 90 exhibitions showcasing Quebec, Canadian and international artists. Several exhibitions curated by Mr. Guyomarc’h have traveled throughout Canada and to the United States, helping to promote comptemporary jewellery and their creators on a national and international level.

This fall, for the first time, the gallery will participate in an international art fair: SOFA Chicago 2015 (Sculptural Object and Functional Art). It will offer the largest ever delegation of Quebec jewellers seen in this kind of event. American collectors will be able to see the latest creations of designers including: Lawrence Woodford, Pierre-Yves Paquette, Gabrielle Desmarais, Aurélie Guillaume, Anne-Sophie Vallée, Matthieu Cheminée, Petra Luz, Silvie Altschuler, Catherine Sheedy, Anne-Marie Rébillard, Barbara Stutman, as well as Canadian artists:  Despo Sophocleous, Paul McClure, Pamela Ritchie and Rebecca Hannon. All represented by Galerie Noel Guyomarc’h except Elise Bergeron, Claudio Pino and Roland Dubuc represented by Aaron Faber Gallery from New-York and Janis Kerman represented by Option Art from Montreal.
